In this vertically integrated model, algae will be grown, harvested, and processed for use in biofuels, biolubricants, aquaculture, animal feed, specialty chemicals, as well as other nutraceutical, cosmaceutical, and pharmaceutical products.

Algae Producers of America (APA) has established a product platform strategy that allows it to actively participate in the identification, development and commercialization of algal based solutions to current and emerging market needs. Targeted actions and solid relationships have been established to allow us to quickly move into two specific growing markets: polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), such as Omega-3 DHA, and anti-oxidants, such as natural astaxanthin.
